- Cryotherapy - freezing treatment using liquid nitrogen can be used for thin lesions.
- Electrocautery - Following the application of numbing cream or injection, simple electrocautery to each age spot can be performed. There will be some scabbing for 7-10 days, and occasional post treatment pigmentation that is transient. The majority of patients heal with no scarring, leaving even and smooth skin.
